Applies to Modern Pinnacle Series, Storage Series and Designer Metal Buildings
1. Designer Metal and Vinyl Siding
TRUPOINT warrants to the original owner that its Designer Metal and Vinyl Siding will be free from defects, including peeling and flaking.
2. Smart-Side Siding
TRUPOINT warrants to the original owner that its Smart-Side Siding will be free from defects, including leaking or structural failure, provided one coat of paint or exterior stain is applied every 24 months from the date of purchase.
3. LeakGuard Roof
TRUPOINT warrants to the original owner that its LeakGuard Roof will remain free from leaking.
4. Metal and Shingle Roofs
TRUPOINT guarantees to the original owner that its metal and shingle roofs will remain free from manufacturer defects.
5. Framing Members
TRUPOINT guarantees to the original owner against the failure of any framing members used in floors, walls, or roofs.
50 Year Flooring
TRUPOINT guarantees to the original owner that its 50 Year Flooring will remain free from structural deterioration for 50 years and includes a 200-day warranty against edge swelling caused by water absorption.
Additional Components Coverage
TRUPOINT warrants to the original owner that all doors, windows, and other components will be free from defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty covers issues such as improper fitting, warping, and other manufacturing defects.
Any defects in manufactured products like siding and roofing materials are covered by the manufacturer’s product warranty. TruPoint directly warrants all claims regarding defects in craftsmanship. Follow the claim process below for assistance or
Claim Process
To file a warranty claim, the original owner must provide proof of purchase and notify TRUPOINT in writing to warranty@trupointbackyards.com. Please include a brief description of the issue and provide photos, if applicable, to expedite resolution. Claims should be submitted within 30 days of discovering the defect. TRUPOINT will inspect the claim and, if approved, will repair or replace the defective part at no cost to the owner.
Exclusions
This Limited Lifetime Warranty does not cover damage resulting from:
- Abuse or misuse
- Normal wear and tear
- Acts of nature (e.g., storms, floods, trees/limbs, earthquakes)
- Modifications or alterations made without prior approval from TRUPOINT
General Terms
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original owner. TRUPOINT reserves the right to make the final determination on all warranty claims.
